Terms of Service

This document applies to the product "YouTube Data Retriever" (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue the use of the Service.
1. Definitions
- "We", "Us", "Our" refer to the developer/operator of the Service.
- "You", "User" refer to anyone who uses the Service.
- "Package" refers to a pre-configured set of features and limits for YouTube data
export operations, available as Starter or Standard packages. Users can purchase the same package
multiple times.
- "Task" refers to an execution job created automatically after successful package
purchase.
- "GCP Project" refers to a Google Cloud Platform project that is automatically
created and managed in the background. Users do not need to interact with GCP projects directly.
- "API Key" refers to a YouTube Data API key that is automatically generated and
managed in the background. Users do not need to interact with API keys directly.
2. Description of the Service
YouTube Data Retriever is a cloud-based service designed to simplify the export of YouTube data using the
official YouTube Data API.
The Service provides:
- Package-based selection system (Starter and Standard packages)
- Automatic OAuth handling (when needed, handled in the background)
- Automatic creation and management of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects (handled in the
background)
- Automatic generation and management of YouTube Data API keys (handled in the background)
- Task execution using official YouTube Data API endpoints
- Automatic task creation after successful payment
- Downloadable result files in JSON or Excel format
- Dashboard overview for tasks and results
- Storage of task history, logs, and error information
Everything is handled automatically - users do not need to interact with GCP projects, API keys, or
technical setup. Users simply select a package, enter parameters, pay, and download results.
The Service does not provide any means for accessing private or sensitive user YouTube
data.
3. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid Google account
- Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws
- Comply with Google API Services User Data Policy
- Comply with YouTube Terms of Service
4. Google OAuth Permissions
The Service requests the following OAuth scopes:
openid
email
profile
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
These scopes are used strictly for:
- User authentication
- Automated creation and configuration of GCP projects
- Automated creation of API keys for YouTube Data API
The Service does not access:
- Private YouTube account data
- Private playlists, subscriptions, channel settings
- Google Drive content
- Any user resource beyond what the Service explicitly requires
OAuth tokens and API keys are encrypted and stored securely, but ownership of the GCP project and keys
remains entirely with the user.
5. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree that:
5.1 API Usage
- You are fully responsible for all operations performed using your GCP project and API key.
- You must comply with YouTube API quota rules and policies.
- You must not attempt to bypass API limits or Google platform restrictions.
5.2 GCP Project Integrity
If you modify or delete your automatically created GCP project, any resulting errors (including pipeline
malfunction, incorrect quota estimation, or task failure) are entirely your own responsibility.
5.3 Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Engage in abusive or malicious traffic
- Perform DDoS-like behavior
- Attempt to circumvent security systems
- Use the Service for illegal activities
- Conduct activities that harm third-party services or violate copyright laws
- Use automated tools to generate excessive load
- Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without permission
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend users who violate these rules.
6. Usage Limits and Packages
The Service provides the following packages with usage limits (per user account):
Starter Package ($19):
- Usage Limits: 2 tasks per day, 5 tasks per month
- Subpackages Included:
- - Search Videos by Keyword: 1 keyword, max 500 videos
- - Search Channels by Keyword: 1 keyword, max 500 channels
- - Obtain Comments: up to 100 videos, max 1000 comments per video
Standard Package ($59):
- Usage Limits: 1 task per day, 2 tasks per month
- Subpackages Included:
- - Search Videos by Keyword: up to 5 keywords, max 500 videos per
keyword
- - Search Channels by Keyword: up to 5 keywords, max 500 channels per
keyword
- - Obtain Comments: up to 300 videos, max 2000 comments per video
Important: Maximum limits (videos, channels, comments) are not guaranteed and may vary
based on YouTube Data API policies and availability. Actual results depend on YouTube API responses.
Users can purchase the same package multiple times. Each purchase is independent. These limits may be
adjusted with prior notice. Final control over resource limitations remains with us.
7. Pricing, Billing, and Refund Policy
7.1 One-Time Payments
The Service operates on a one-time payment model. Each package purchase is a single transaction processed
via Stripe. Users can purchase the same package multiple times, and each purchase is independent. No
recurring subscriptions or automatic renewals.
7.2 Payment Processing
All payments are handled by Stripe, and you agree to comply with Stripe's terms and
policies.
7.3 Refunds
A 7-day refund window applies unless otherwise stated. Refund requests after 7 days may
be rejected.
7.4 Failed Payments
If payment fails, the task will not be created. If payment is disputed after task completion, we may
suspend or terminate your account.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its interface, code, and architecture, is protected by copyright and other
intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or reproduce the Service
- Use the Service to build a competing product
- Remove branding or attribution
9. DMCA and Copyright Compliance
We do not host or provide copyrighted video content.
The Service only accesses public metadata via the official YouTube Data API.
Users are solely responsible for how they use exported data.

10. Data Accuracy and API Reliability
You acknowledge and agree that:
- YouTube Data API may return incomplete or inconsistent data
- Google may change API behaviors without notice
- Maximum limits (videos, channels, comments) are not guaranteed and may vary based on YouTube Data
API policies and availability
- External errors (Google API outage, quota exhaustion, project suspension) are outside our control
We provide no warranty regarding:
- API accuracy
- API stability
- API availability
- API limit changes
- Data completeness
- Successful execution of every task
11. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted uptime
- Error-free operation
- Future availability of any feature
- Preservation of historical data
- Data recovery after loss
12. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- API abuse
- Malicious traffic
- Security risks
- Fraudulent activity
- Violation of Terms
- Payment disputes
- Illegal usage
- Excessive resource consumption
- Any action that jeopardizes platform stability or legal standing
All user data (pipelines, tasks, logs, API keys, tokens) may be deleted upon termination.
13. Data Storage and International Transfer
Your data is stored in:
- AWS us-east-1 (Virginia, USA)
This means your data may be transferred outside your home country.
We rely on:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
- AWS GDPR-compliant infrastructure
- Encryption during transit and storage

14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data, or business
interruption.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid during the month of the
incident.
- We are not responsible for damages arising from third-party services (Google, AWS,
Stripe, etc.).
We do not accept liability for:
- Loss resulting from deletion or modification of your GCP project
- Incorrect quota estimates
- Limits imposed by YouTube or Google
- Errors caused by external API changes
- Your misuse of exported data
- Security breach caused by your own environment
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
However, international users (US/EU) may have additional rights under their local laws.
Any disputes must be resolved under Malaysian jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
We will notify users of major changes through:
- Email notice, or
- In-app announcement
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
